Oh my God. My mom used to love this bread, I am looking for any place that sells the bp bun with the raisins and almonds... do you know where the last of it is? haha
I was having breakfast this morning with my son when he asked me what was my favourite bread ever. I told him I never had a bread better than B P Bread, when he decided to google it. Funny. Folks, BP was the best bread in the World, baked in Pakistan in 50's and 60's
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls; . . .
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; . . .
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
— Gitanjali, Rabindranath Tagore
While the fundamentalists — we must recognize their courage — assert their retrograde convictions and announce that, sooner or later, using violence or murder if necessary, they will impose them on everyone, the intellectuals continue to remain silent, terrorized by the threats of the fundamentalists, the screams of the crowds, and the unrelenting hold of religious law, the sharia.
